Dirt and moisture may cause blockages during feeding of seals. The resulting interruptions in operations reduce the output of the processing machine. The cleaning device for seals dries the outside contours of the seals and prevents dirt from getting into the application. The same seals drum is used as on the Komax seals module.
The wireless Datalogic PM8300 manual bar code scanner is impervious to dust and suitable for use in industrial environments. The device supports Kanban production and material verification, i.e. it can record material loaded in the machine and detect batches. Production is released only if the scanner verifies that the correct material is in the machine.
You can now control the Alpha 355 and the Gamma 263 machines from a touch screen. You simply type on the screen directly with your finger or an appropriate stylus instead of using a mouse and keyboard. When you are typing the number for the wire length, for example, a 10-number keypad appears automatically, allowing you to type in the new length directly. You will probably continue to rely on mouse and keyboard for complex functions or for text entry.
